1981 : Creation of Gan Yeladim Nancy on a proposal of Chief rabbi MORALI (zal) and of Tcherna and Yehuda MATUSOF of the Loubavitch movement.
1985 : Mr. and Mrs. TENENBAUM decide to put their son, Emmanuel at Gan. There is just 3 children. Gan is installed in a small room of the last stage of the Community Center.
1987 : Mr. and Mrs. MATUSOF give the destiny of Gan between the hands of Mr. TENENBAUM, current president of association.
"To transmit a Jewish knowledge, a Jewish way of life in a certain modernity"
1991 : War of the Gulf : in the absence of specific protection measures, the gan is delocalized temporarily in the residence of Muriel and Marc Tenenbaum.
1992 : During Gerard Blum (zal) chairmanship's, following an increase in manpower, we decided to increase Gan and to move it to ground floor of the Community center.
1994 : Inauguration in the presence of Mr. Gelber (then 88 years old) of one room to the memory of his children: Simon and Suzanne Gelber.
1999 : Reception of refugees of Kosovo at the time of Yom Hayeled (Day of the child).
2000 : Installation of the Montessori method.
2003 : Visit of Mrs. Klarsfeld (Les Fils et Filles des Déportés Juifs de France).


2004 :
Olivier Raffovich came to visite the gan.
2005 :
Mr Barbihai, mayor of Kyriat Chemona came in visit to the gan.
In the 250 year old frameworks of
the community (2005/2006), the gan with given objects to the Jewish
room of the Lorraeine museum.
2008 :
The Chief Rabbi Sitruck visited gan.
2009
: On 11
June on the occasion of the inauguration of the exhibition "The Jews
and Lorraine, the Grand Rabbi of France Gilles Bernheim began his
visit to Nancy with a visit to Gan Yeladim, there was a very
interesting exchange with children, before the large model of Mount
Sinai (Har Sinai) that had been built on the occasion of Chavouout.
2010
: Visit
the Mayor of Kiryat Chemonit, Mr. Nissim Malka and his wife during
his stay at Nancy on Thursday 14 to Monday, January 18.
Children of Gan Yeladim had the pleasure of preparing the Shabbat in
the presence of the Grand Rabbi of France Gilles Bernheim Friday,
January 29.
Every two years , we organize
YOM HAYELED, the DAY Of the CHILD for the whole of the communities which surround us.
